Reign of Terror (Thousand Oaks, CA) has updated their Web site with some really great news: a third attraction is coming for 2011!
It looks like Bruce Stanton and his team have been hard at work on the new maze, called “Blood Manor.” (Perhaps to avoid confusion with the same-named haunt in New York, we’d like to suggest they change the name to “Reign in Blood.”) You can see photos of the construction progress over on their Facebook page.
In even MORE great news, the haunt will be open every Friday and Saturday this October. This haunt gets quite a line, because they let only small groups in at a time. There is no “conga line” here. You’re not likely to see another group while you’re in the maze. So expanding their operating dates will give more people the chance to experience it.
Reign of Terror was one of our favorite haunts from last year. We highly suggest you make the trip out to Ventura County to experience it. You can read our 2010 review here.
Good morning! Would reign of Terror be interested in placing an ad to publicize your event? We are holding a chili cook-off on Oct. 1 in Castaic and are putting together a program. Business card sized ads are $25, larger ones for $50, $75 including banners for each.
Last year our event drew 5,000 and this year we have expanded the exhibitor/competitor space and parking areas.
We will be featuring a page for Halloween-related businesses (costume shops, theme parks and major haunted houses).
Please email me if you are interested and I can send you details
Thank you in advance.
Gail
