Five Tips to Survive ScareLA

Tip #1: Get Your Ghoulish Grub On

Yelp! has created this guide of local eateries that are eager to feed the beasts of ScareLA, all just a short crawl from the showfloor. Some are even offering discounts for those who arrive to eat in costume.

Tip #2: Let Us Suck Your Blood (we’ll trade it for ice cream)

Huntington Hospital, the only blood donor center in the San Gabriel Valley, will have their blood sucking mobile outside of ScareLA from 11am to 7pm,Saturday, August 8. The first 40 bleeders will receive an official t-shirt and Baskin Robbins certificate.

Tip #3: Plot Your Schedule

Print out our panels and presentations schedule in advance to schedule your arrival, lunch, and other plans accordingly. Be sure to leave plenty of time to shop from nearly 200 vendors, along with visits to our mini-haunts andscreening room.

Tip #4: Get Artsy Fartsy with Crafts for Kids and Creeps

For the Wednesday Addams and Damien in all of us, enjoy some arts and crafts with a horror and Halloween twist, made for anyone old enough to hold a pair of scissors.

#5: Watch Out For Zombies

Undead will be wandering the 100,000 square feet of the ScareLA showfloor in search of cranium matter – will you survive? Sign up in advance here or at the Gantom / Reel Guise booth by the box office to play Apocalypse – the real time zombie infection game to test your skills and see if you could survive a zombie outbreak.
