We talk a lot about the haunts on the East and West Coasts, but there are some awesome haunts in the middle of the country, too.
Scream Country Haunted Forest in Drumright, Oklahoma, is one of those haunts, and it’s all new for 2010!
This year, Scream Country is featuring 3 brand new mazes:
- Necronomicon Nightmare, featuring Freddy Kreuger
- Camp Blood: Dead by Dawn, featuring Jason Voorhees
- Harvest of Darkness, featuring Evil Ash from Army of Darkness
Scream Country weaves the tale of the Book of the Dead between all three haunts, so that a cohesive story line ties the three horror movie legends together.
And if that’s not enough, you can also take in…Evil Dead: The Musical. This live stage show pulls from Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness. Like fake blood? Then sit in the “splatter zone.” The musical is performed every night of the haunt.
