The jack-o-lanterns have been discarded and the cobwebs have come down, and now it’s time for the most truly terrifying time of the year: the holidays. Fortunately, the horror isn’t over yet, as the Immersive Arts Collective is staging two twisted and immersive events this November and December: “Bite: Season’s Bleedings” and “A Grave Affair” will be presented at the Count’s Den, located in Downtown LA.

Bite-Seasons-Bleedings

“Bite” was presented back in 2019 but has been resurrected with a new holiday twist. Described as a “darkly comedic” show, this 90-minute interactive experience includes dinner and special holiday drinks. During the performance, guests will mingle with the dysfunctional vampire family over cocktails and then enjoy a sit-down holiday feast, and “bear witness to a festive display of unholy activities and twisted performances unlike that of any holiday party you’ll attend all year.” Although the vampires are likely to be indulging in some “red” meat, vegan and gluten-free options will be available to regular guests. There’s even an option to participate in a “Secret Santa” gift exchange, which is a very unique twist on events of this kind.

Grave-affair-Murder-Mystery

“A Grave Affair” debuted in 2021 for one night only in October, but returns for the holiday season. This experience is akin to a murder mystery dinner show that includes burlesque and variety performances. Guests are requested to dress in their “funeral best” for a service for Madame Malade, the esteemed head matriarch of the Cirque du Sique traveling circus. Guests will enjoy cocktails and appetizers while they mingle with disturbed family members and attempt to unravel the mystery.

Bite: Season’s Bleedings will be presented two times per night, at 7:30 and 9:30 pm, beginning November 13th and 14th, followed by Friday and Saturday nights thereafter until December 18th. Dinner and drinks are included, with tickets costing $75 per person.

A Grave Affair will run Sunday nights beginning November 21 through December 19, with shows at 7 and 9 pm. Drinks and appetizers are included in the $45 ticket price.

All guests must be 21 years or older and show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. For more information and to order tickets, visit the Immersive Arts Collection website.
